What's up with Amanda... Amanda Kay Howell has been in the New York area for over two years. Her first adventure in the NY area took her to Sleepy Hollow, NY for the widely Publicized Horseman's Hollow. Seen on the CBS evening news it's first year in 2010. She has also joined with the singers of ActorCor of NYC Jan. 2011 and 2012 for their MLK Day concert!
In Feb 2011 Amanda joined the cast of The Passion Play the Musical at The Park Performing Arts Center Union City, NJ as the famed evil queen Herodas. She repeated the role in 2012. This was the 97th and 98th prodution of the Passion Play at Park Performing Arts Center ! In Oct. 2011 Amanda again joined with the living dead in Sleepy Hollow as the Living Statue! Horseman's Hollow In Dec. 2011 Amanda join the Premier Theater Company in a run of her favorite, Scrooge the Musical as a member of the Ensemble, singing and dancing at the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park NJ. Amanda returned to Sleepy Hollow, NY once again in 2012 at Horseman's Hollow! This time as a Vampire of the same name, "Amanda". The last night of Horseman's Hollow was canceled due to Hurricane Sandy. Amanda has returned to AL for a little while and took on helping with crew for Fighting Owl's production of their new short, Night of the Krumpus and crew with Chickasaw Civic Theatre's The Nerd. In July '13 Amanda reached a moment she'd been waiting for for 10 years! The opening show of the 50th year of Chickasaw Civic Theater, Mobile AL where she got her start with her first role as Emily Web in her very first show on a real theater stage. She was blessed to be a part of the cast of The Pocket Reader's Theater's Old Time Radio Show directed by Rick Miller. She played the role of Pat Riley in the Life of Riley. Oct. 2013 Amanda returns to the town of Sleepy Hollow, NY for the 4th time for Horseman's Hollow. The show selling out better then ever thanks to the new network TV show that goes by the same name of the town! |

She has also writen and directed a theatrical haunted house for the Bayou La Batre Historical Foundation intitled Night of the Dead. She now returns yearly for Sleepy Hollow's (Yes, THAT Sleepy Hollow) famed haunted adventure based on the Headless Horseman and sings with the multi-faith choir ActorCor of NYC made up of NYC actors. In AL she also sang for fund raisers and placed in the top 12 of Searching for a Star compatition held by the Salvation Army at the Mobile Seanger Theater.
